Terms of Use

Effective date: May 8, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Church Sermon Notesplatform and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Church Sermon Notes("we," "us," or "our"). By registering for or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Church-Only Use — Eligibility and Permitted Use

The Service is intended exclusively for Christian churches, religious congregations, faith-based ministries, and their authorized members and staff. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are registering on behalf of a church or faith-based religious organization;
  • You have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms;
  • Your use of the Service is for church ministry purposes, including sermon distribution, congregation engagement, discipleship, and related ministry activities.

The Service may not be used by:

  • Secular businesses, non-religious nonprofits, or individuals acting outside a church or ministry context;
  • Any organization whose primary purpose is not religious worship, ministry, or faith-based community;
  • Any person or entity reselling or repackaging the Service without written authorization from us.

We reserve the right to terminate any account that we reasonably determine does not meet these eligibility requirements, with or without prior notice.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, church administrators must register and create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information;
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials;
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account;
  • Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each church may have multiple administrator accounts. Church administrators are responsible for managing member access and ensuring all users within their church comply with these Terms.

3. Marketing Communications

By registering a church on the Service, church administrators and pastors agree to receive email communications from Church Sermon Notes, which may include:

  • Promotional offers and pricing information;
  • Content relevant to church leadership and ministry.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at hello@churchsermonnotes.com. Transactional emails (such as account notifications and billing receipts) are not subject to opt-out.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

The Service is offered on both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees.

  • Free plan: available with limited features as described on our pricing page.

  • Refunds: we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
  • Price changes: we will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices.

5. Your Content
